How we met

Amanda & Joseph first met in the summer of 2006 while working at Target in Apple Valley, Minnesota. Amanda was a cashier, and Joseph worked the night shifts. One evening, as Amanda was closing her register, Joseph passed by and discreetly slipped her a note — inside was his phone number.

What started as casual afternoons in local cafés and parks soon blossomed into a close friendship. As summer turned into fall, their bond deepened. But life had other plans: Amanda moved to Washington, D.C., and the two were separated by distance. Despite the miles between them, they stayed in touch, holding onto the connection they had built.

Years later, that connection evolved into something more. In October 2022, Amanda and Joseph officially began a long-distance relationship. Through countless calls, visits, and unwavering commitment, their love continued to grow — culminating in a heartfelt engagement on Easter Sunday in 2025.

Now, Amanda & Joseph are ready to begin their next chapter — becoming one and building a family together.
